The core of this 14x5 snare is the 2.3mm thick, seamless, beaded brass shell of the same quality as Ludwig's legendary Black Beauty model. The raw, unfinished exterior is impactful both visually and sonically: the natural patina makes for a unique look (even from drum to drum), and the tone is rich and full with a completely unfiltered top end.
